Each CycleOps VIP (Virtual Indoor Power) member will undergo a standard assessment protocol to capture key metrics such as age, weight, power profile, heart rate profile etc. This allows us to calculate an ‘indoor’ functional threshold power (FTP) and thereby determine personalised training zones for power and heart rate. These will be related to the generally accepted categories of Recovery, Endurance, Tempo, Threshold, VO2 Max and Supra Max. All key training and set-up data will be noted on your membership card, and adjusted from time to time as you progress.
